I had been looking for a bag to fly with that I didn’t have to stand on my head in an airplane to get out what I needed! Stuff you need is always in the bottom of a big purse. Thank you!! This is so thoughtful from organizing my head phones, pulling out my laptop and even gave me an easy water pocket!
I did a TON of research looking for the perfect Personal Item for travel. So happy I found Nomad Lane. Love that the interior is light so it’s easy to find things. The straps are comfortable and the trolley sleeve glides easily. Lots of organization and it’s so light. Highly recommend.
This bag is amazing. Garment section packs in like a packing cube. The other section I can carry my toiletry, cords and a pair of running shoes. Still enough room for my laptop in the center. Love it, and I’ve purchased lots of duffels in my time. Too small for a blazer/suit however.
Well-designed and beautifully made. Compact, yet roomy enough to hold all the necessities. The perfect complement to a checked bag for longer trips; and the smaller size means it can be used as a carry-on on international airlines. Well worth the investment!

Just used this bag on a trip to Europe. Easy to organize what I needed: laptop, chargers, cables, medicines, a small mirrorless camera & two lenses; extra clothes including underwear, two shirts, a pair of pants, & a light winder breaker jacket. The zipper down the middle creating two halves made it easy to separate & organize things. The side pockets held my phone, passport, house keys, a note pad & 2 pens. The slide-thru panel on the back sat easily on my carry-on suitcase; I like the option of the zipper underneath the panel that allowed me to use it as an additional exterior pocket. Entering & exiting the airplane's narrow aisles was made a bit easier carrying this personal bag (separate from the carry-on suitcase), and for me it’s one of the few times I had a personal bag that fit under the seat in front of me, something that the flight attendant kept emphasizing. Overall , a great & stylish bag!
By far my favorite work tote. The luggage strap that zips to an outside pocket is great for quick grab items like my business cards and work phone.

I am travelling in May and am really looking forward to using this item. I particularly like where the computer is placed. Usually computers go at the back outside pocket and this makes things feel off balance and awkward. I think that your design will balance the weight of the bag better. Thank you for thinking about this in the design.
I was surprised on how much i could carry, clothes, electronic accessories, computer, books, etc. I like the different compartments to separate items. And the compartment/luggage carry is great. The only draw back is the weight. But the durabliity makes up for it.
This bento bag had all the features I'd been looking for. (And believe me, I've tried a lot of bags!) I am so excited to start using it on my next adventure!
Happy with the purchase of 2 V4 Bento Bags! Quality and organization are the words that come to mind in describing these carry ons. Loads of room and everything in its place. Negatives are that we wanted bronze but gunmetal only was available. Gunmetal was therefore ordered and it stated so on the delivered box however the bags were bronze lined. Sometimes things just work out.
Love how much this backpack holds yet it’s slim enough to get down the airplane isle. Fabric is great on it too.
I've been to over 60 countries, all 50 States at least twice. I take 15 to 20 1 night business trips each year. This bag is the best so far. I'd buy the next version with these suggested changes: 1) make one of the interior front pockets have a zipper for added security, 2) increase the "luggage area" by half an inch in width, 3) use "cotopaxi" style safety zipper closures, 4) remove tablet sleeve or change it into a pocket with a zipper on top. But this version is perfect.
When I thought I didn’t need another travel bag, the size, the ability to lay flats like a suitcase, pockets with purpose. This a great personal carry on bag.

I cannot wait for my upcoming trip to Alaska. I was hopping to pack as many items as possible and this bag has the organization I was looking for and then some. Everything is easily accessible and with the carry on style layout, I’ll be able to fit a few days worth of necessaries in this personal item sized bag. Getting my husband one for future trips!
Finally received after about a month in shipping. Smaller than I thought and very light despite being a bag that can stay upright on its own when empty. Found some loose fabric left inside but otherwise seems like a great quality bag. Picked this bag over the Away backpack because I liked the idea of having no loose straps.
After being in transit for nearly a month, I finally received my order. Just an initial impression review since the bag did not arrive in time for my recent trip. I also have the Avenue Weekender bag from Maverick & Co in blue. Compared to the Maverick & Co bag, the Bento Bag is overall nicer. I expected the Bento Bag to be smaller but it's actually very similar in size. I like that the Bento Bag is sturdier and maintains it's structure even when empty. The blue color is nice. It's not as vibrant as in the pictures, which u think is a good thing. If not for the sale, I probably would have gone with the black color. The zippers have the N logo and feels nice. Compared to the Maverick & Co weekender, this bag can be considered more feminine with it's much more comfortable full leather handles. Great personal bag.
My Bento bag is well made and I’m looking forward to TSA , well maybe not, but certainly less anxiety
